I said goodbye to Lleyton and his Dad, then went to Berry Springs for a swim. The water was very warm and there were Archer and Longtoms swimming around us, it was good. We camped at Wangi in Litchfield National Park where we met up with the Tarplee’s again. We had a swim out to the waterfalls and jumped off the rocks. At night time we watched a slide show on the flora, fauna and sights of Litchfield. This was put on by the National Park Ranger.

75 k travelling east to the Stuart Highway we stopped in to check out Berry Springs.  In our minds it was a ski park, however, what we came accross was a beautiful National Park with large warm thermal springs 20 times larger than those at Mataranka.  After a swim here we headed down the Stuart Highway toward the right hand turn off into Litchfield National Park.  As it was late we knew we wouldn't get a site at Wangi Falls, however we went there on the chance we could park near our friends camp or out on the road nearby.
We had a beautiful swim at Wangi and managed to get our van on our friends site.  We took the kids to the free (we love free) slide show presented by Nat Park Staff.  The kids learnt so much about the kind of plants and animals that habitat the area.
